SpaceLens Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026
Overview
SpaceLens is a local-first macOS disk intelligence app provided by Rafal Sikora, operating as RSI Tech. The SpaceLens app does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.
Local File Access
SpaceLens accesses only folders you choose through the macOS folder picker. It reads file and folder names, paths, sizes, allocated disk usage, dates, folder structure, and scan errors locally to explain disk usage and cleanup risk. File contents and metadata are not uploaded to an external server.
Local Storage and Retention
SpaceLens stores an app-scoped bookmark for your last selected folder, saved cleanup queue paths, and a save timestamp in its local Application Support directory. Use Settings > General > Forget Saved Folder and Queue to remove that state. Removing SpaceLens app data also removes it.
Cleanup Actions
SpaceLens can move cleanup-ready files to the Bin only after you confirm the exact target paths. SpaceLens 1.0 does not expose permanent deletion in its App Store interface.
